Created in 2014, the Office of Technology Services represents a legislative initiative to consolidate and streamline IT services within state agencies, thus saving taxpayer dollars. OTS' mission is to increase the return on the state's investment in technology by promoting smart decision-making; solving problems intelligently; increasing the rate of project success; and fostering a skilled and professional workforce. The agency's operations budget is appropriated solely as inter-agency transfer or self-generated funds, recovering operational costs through a fee-for-service model.
