Jessica Aris

Jessica Aris has extensive work experience in financial management and leadership roles. Jessica is currently the Chief Financial Officer at the Louisiana SPCA, where they began in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Financial Planning Manager at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center from December 2020 to October 2021. From 2019 to 2021, Jessica held dual roles as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Human Resources at Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orléans. Jessica also served as the Financial Controller at St. George's Episcopal School from June 2016 to February 2019. Before that, Jessica worked as a Business Manager at Picardie from July 2015 to June 2016. Jessica started their career as a French Teacher at Lusher Charter School in August 2012 and later took on roles as a Business Manager at a law firm from January 2009 to August 2012 and an intern handling Communications & Project Management at the Consulat General de France a la Nouvelle Orleans.

Jessica Aris completed their education at the University of New Orleans, where they focused on Finance and Financial Management Services. Prior to that, they attended New York University, studying Eastern Philosophy and Liberal Arts, graduating in 2009. In addition to their formal education, Jessica also possesses additional certifications in Business Writing and Grant Writing, although the institutions from which they obtained these certifications are unknown.
