Halima Fasasi

Halima Fasasi is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Officer at USCIS since January 2023. In addition to this role, Halima has been a Legal Intern at the Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence and a JD Candidate at LSU Law Center since August 2019 and 2017 respectively. Experience includes working as a Law Clerk for the Louisiana State Bar Association, where responsibilities involve reviewing court opinions and managing legal documents. Previously, Halima held positions at The Woods Law Firm as an Excess Proceeds Locator and Junior Attorney, and completed internships with Dallas County and the Louisiana Parole Project, focusing on advocacy and research related to juvenile life imprisonment.
