Douglas Thompson has comprehensive experience in law enforcement and military service. Currently serving as the Peer Support Program Director and State Trooper with the Louisiana State Police since August 2007, Thompson has a robust background in peer support initiatives. Prior military experience includes serving as a Sergeant with the 3rd Battalion 23rd Marines and the 1st Battalion 3rd Marines, in addition to time as a Corporal with the MCSF Battalion Bangor. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Business from Liberty University.
