Director Of Judicial Security & Safety Management at Louisiana Supreme Court

Tommy Anderson has a diverse work experience in the law enforcement field. Tommy began their career in 1976 at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, where they served as a Lieutenant for 24 years. During this time, they played a significant role in targeting and addressing street-level criminal activity. Tommy also served as a liaison to the community and built strong relationships with other law enforcement agencies. In 2001, Tommy joined the Louisiana Supreme Court as the Director of Judicial Security & Safety Management, a position in which they continue to serve.

Tommy Anderson completed their high school education from West Jefferson High School between 1973 and 1976, earning a High School Diploma in General Studies. After high school, they attended the University of Holy Cross, but the duration of this education and whether they obtained a degree is unknown. Later in their career, Tommy obtained certifications in Personal Protection Specialists from the Executive Protection Institute in May 2006, and in P.O.S.T. from the Louisiana Police Officer Training Council in November 1977.
