Valerie Brown

Valerie Brown is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in outreach, marketing, and advocacy for veterans. Currently serving as a Licensed Massage Therapist at A Gift To You LLC since June 2017, Valerie has also been involved with the Louisiana Workforce Commission's Disabled Veteran Outreach Program since September 2013. Additionally, Valerie has held the position of Director of Marketing at WorkSite Lighting LLC since September 2012, where responsibilities include managing ad campaigns and social media presence. As a volunteer Outreach Volunteer Coordinator with F7 GROUP, Valerie collaborates on retreats and boot camps aimed at empowering women and veterans. Previous roles include serving as a participant and speaker at KC Bancs, a liaison at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Hospital, and a member of the National Leadership Council for Student Veterans of America. Valerie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Missouri Kansas City, completed in 2012.
