Doug Snyder

Doug Snyder, CGCS, is an accomplished golf course management professional with extensive experience in maintenance and operations. As the owner of Certified Turf Services since January 2019, Doug specializes in managing agronomic departments for golf courses. Currently serving as Golf Course Superintendent at Louisquisset Golf Club, Doug previously held the position of Director for the Connecticut Association of Golf Course Superintendents, where responsibilities included planning educational seminars and coordinating winter seminars. Doug has co-authored the Connecticut Golf Industry Best Management Practice guide and has held various roles in prestigious golf clubs, contributing to significant projects, including a master plan with architect Gil Hanse. Educated at Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Crop & Soil Science – Turfgrass Management, Doug brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the industry.
