John Matherly

John Matherly possesses a diverse background in sports management and customer service, currently serving as a Front Office Associate and Ticket Sales and Services Associate for the Louisville Bats since July 2022, where engagement with fans and promotion of ticket sales are key responsibilities. Prior to this role, John held positions such as Success Manager for Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity, Tier 3 Process Assistant at Amazon Fulfillment Center, and Assistant Tournament Director for BD Global, showcasing strong communication and operational management skills. Additional experience includes internships with Eastern Kentucky University Athletics and the Lexington Legends, where John contributed to event operations and day-to-day management. John earned a Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from Eastern Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Georgetown College.
