Carolyn Tandy

Carolyn Tandy is currently the Director at the Louisville Urban League. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Texas Roadhouse from July 2017 to July 2021. Before that, they worked as the State Director at Obama for America from March 2008 to June 2008. In this role, they were responsible for managing all of Kentucky’s campaign efforts on behalf of Obama for America, including media buys, field operations, communications, political affairs, principal/surrogate scheduling efforts, budgeting, operations, grassroots fundraising efforts and volunteer coordination. Carolyn also managed over 30 local office operations and over 200 staff and volunteers.

Carolyn Tandy has a MA in Management and Leadership from Webster University, a BA in Sociology from Gordon College, and a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
