Kevin Merten has over 20 years of work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Kevin currently holds the position of Director - Intermodal Sales at Loup Logistics since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Union Pacific Railroad from 1999 to 2021, where they held various roles including Sr. Business Manager - Sales, Damage Prevention Engineer, Manager Shipment Quality & Damage Prevention, and Business Manager - Sales. Before joining Union Pacific Railroad, they worked as a Financial Analyst at Union Pacific Distribution Services from 1997 to 1999.

Kevin Merten earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Briar Cliff University, which they attended from 1993 to 1997.
