Zheng Li

Zheng Li is currently an analyst at Loup Ventures. Previously, they worked as an investment analyst at CQS from June 2018 to June 2020, focused on credit in Asia with exposure to high yield and distressed bonds. Prior to that, they were an investment analyst at Chenavari Investment Managers from May 2016 to May 2018, where they focused on special situation investments in Asia including private credit and stressed / distressed bonds. Zheng Li began their career in finance as a junior analyst at Lazard in the Telecom & Tech sector from May 2015 to October 2015. Zheng then moved to Allianz Global Investors to work as a Euro High Yield Credit Research from September 2013 to September 2014. Zheng Li started their professional career as an equity research trainee at Societe Generale from January 2013 to July 2013, where they focused on EU Capital Goods.

Zheng Li has a MSc in Management from HEC Paris, a Bachelor of Engineering from Tsinghua University, and is certified from the CFA Institute.

They are on a team with Steve Van Sloun - Associate, Will Thompson - Associate, and Rebecca Mulberg - Head of Content. Zheng Li reports to Andrew Murphy, Managing Partner.
