Katherine Sofia de Leon

Katherine Sofia De Leon, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor with extensive experience in providing therapeutic services across various settings. Currently, Katherine serves at Love Discovery Institute and has previously held positions at Florida Mental Health Practitioners, Revolutionary Change Counseling, and Borinquen Health Care Center, among others. With a focus on individual, family, and marital therapy, Katherine has worked with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, utilizing both in-person and Telehealth modalities. Notable accomplishments include completing training for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and developing bio-psychosocial intake assessment forms for mental health professionals. Katherine holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Barry University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Miami.
