John Korb

John Korb has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. John is currently working for Lovejoy ISD as the Director of Technology. Prior to this role, they were employed at W Energy Software as the Senior Manager of Product. John also served as the Director of Operations at NeoFirma and the Director of Instructional Technology at Bastrop ISD. In addition, they worked as the Advanced Applications & Statewide Distance Learning Coordinator at Texas Education Telecommunications Network - Education Service Center Region 13, and as the CEO & Lead Consultant at Atticus Education Consultants, LLC. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Technology Specialist and an English Language Arts Teacher at Bastrop ISD, and as an English Teacher at Seguin ISD. Before transitioning to the education sector, they worked for Korb Operating as a Contract Pumper/Echo Meter Technician in the oil and gas industry.

John Korb earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Texas State University, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Giddings High School from 1995 to 1999. In 2008, John pursued a Masters degree in Administration at Lamar University, completing it in 2009. Additionally, they obtained a Texas Teaching Certificate from the State Board of Educator Certification in August 2003. Alongside their formal education, John has also acquired various certifications over the years, including a Google Ads Search Certification from Google in October 2022, PMC Level III certification from Pragmatic Institute in April 2021, Community Emergency Response Team - Allen, TX certification from FEMA in November 2017, MTA: Database Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in February 2015, and Google Apps Admin certification from Google in January 2014.
