Dr. Stephanie Woods Dnp

Dr. Stephanie Woods DNP, MSN, RN has over 29 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Dr. Stephanie currently works as the Director of Nursing at Lovelace Health System since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Grand Canyon University starting in May 2020.

From September 2011 to July 2021, Dr. Woods worked at Presbyterian Healthcare Services in various roles. Dr. Stephanie started as a Clinical Professional Development Specialist IV and later became an Interim Manager and then a Senior Manager of Clinical Education and Professional Development.

Before joining Presbyterian Healthcare Services, Dr. Woods worked as an RN charge nurse at Presbyterian hospital in September 2017. Dr. Stephanie also served as an RN at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital from May 1992 to August 2011.

Dr. Stephanie Woods earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Grand Canyon University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration from the same university from 2014 to 2016. Dr. Stephanie completed their Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Grand Canyon University from 2012 to 2014. Dr. Woods began their nursing education at Wharton County Junior College, where they earned an ADN degree in Nursing from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Stephanie completed their high school education with a diploma from Brazos High School between 1979 and 1982.
