Sandy McKay is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in managing and producing high-level communication materials. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute since May 2003, Sandy is responsible for editing, writing, and producing materials for executive management, assisting with press releases and media relations, and contributing to the annual magazine. Prior to this role, Sandy held the position of Director of Communications at the State Bar of New Mexico, managing the weekly bulletin and quarterly magazine while crafting speeches for leadership. Experience also includes serving as Publications Manager at Los Alamos Technical Associates, where Sandy oversaw technical publications and proposal development, and as Technical Editor at Infomatrix, focusing on environmental remediation documentation. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from San Jose State University and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from The University of New Mexico.
