Greg Ward has extensive experience in fire service leadership, currently serving as the Division Chief of Risk Reduction & Readiness at Loveland Fire Rescue Authority since 2013. In this role, Greg also held the title of Division Chief of Operations. Prior to this position, Greg worked for the City of Loveland from August 2003 to April 2013 as a Battalion Chief, demonstrating a strong commitment to community safety and operational excellence throughout a substantial career in fire management.
Loveland Fire Rescue Authority
The Loveland Fire Rescue Authority is a combination department which utilizes both career and volunteer firefighters. Our staff consists of over 100 career members (including both uniformed and civilian employees) and a volunteer battalion that serves the Big Thompson Canyon and the town of Drake. These department members operate under the leadership of a career Fire Chief. The department also receives valuable citizen input from the Fire & Rescue Advisory Commission.
