Dr Dinesh Chauhan

Dr. Dinesh Chauhan (PhD) serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Agribusiness & Innovation Platform at ICRISAT since February 2024 and is a member of the CII National AI Forum with the Confederation of Indian Industry since September 2024. With an extensive background in agribusiness, Dr. Chauhan holds multiple advisory roles, including Corporate Advisory Board Member at Lovely Professional University and member of the Global AgTech Council, alongside contributions to GLG, the African Agribusiness Alliance, AgTech Insight, and the Ghana India Trade Advisory Chamber. Prior to these roles, Dr. Chauhan served as Vice President at DeHaat until February 2024 and was an Adjunct Faculty at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Agribusiness Management and Marketing from the College of Agribusiness Management, an MSc in Food Technology from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, and a BSc in Agriculture Sciences and Animal Husbandry from the same institution.
