Carlos Castro is a Senior Data Engineer at LovelyStay since November 2024, previously serving as a Data Engineer at Jscrambler from January 2022 to November 2024, where active participation in the launch of Data Engineering strategies and best practices took place. Prior experience includes a Junior Data Engineer role at Farfetch from April 2018 to January 2022, focusing on developing data architectures, ETL pipelines, and machine learning models, while also participating in data initiatives and utilizing Agile methodologies. Carlos's career began at ITEN Solutions as a software tester, highlighting expertise in software testing automation during an academic project. Carlos holds a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade do Minho and a licentiate degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo.
