Amanda Lucas

Amanda Lucas currently serves as the Assistant Head of Upper School at The Lovett School, a position held since June 2023. Additionally, Amanda is a member of the Advisory Council for One Schoolhouse, providing expertise and support to the community of academic leaders since April 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Dean of Teaching & Learning at Blair Academy and English Department Chairperson at The Emery/Weiner School, where Amanda contributed to faculty development and curriculum initiatives. A strong background in education is complemented by roles at The College Board and Pearland ISD, focusing on curriculum development and teacher training, and an early career as a real estate assistant. Amanda holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in English from Middlebury College and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University.
