David Silverman

David Silverman is an experienced film studies instructor at The Lovett School, where curriculum development for students in grades 8 - 12 has been a primary focus since August 2006. David has taught various courses, including Intro to Motion Picture Production and Advanced Moviemaking. In addition to educational roles, David is an actor with Atlanta Models & Talent, a member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA. Co-founding Cakebaby Productions in July 2009, David serves as a producer, writer, and director, emphasizing storytelling through independent media. Earlier experience includes a copywriting position at The Original On-Hold Company, where ad copy was crafted for messaging and radio. David earned a BS in Communications with a focus on Motion Picture Production and English from the University of Miami, having previously studied at the University of Florida.
