James Bleuer is the current Vice President of Data at Lovevery. James has over 9 years of experience in marketing analytics and performance marketing. Prior to joining Lovevery, James was an independent contractor with Backcountry.com from July 2016 to November 2019. While with Backcountry.com, James worked with the executive and leadership team to provide insights and materials for Board of Director updates. James was also a project manager on a number of large scale strategic initiatives, from initial scoping, projected cost benefit analysis and executive proposals to final execution by leading teams of engineers and other key stakeholders.
Before working as an independent contractor, James worked for Bridgewell Resources LLC from January 2015 to April 2016 as a renewables trader, freight & logistics manager. During their time at Bridgewell Resources LLC, James conducted a shipment level data gathering and analysis exercise which resulted in a substantial overhaul of freight spend (ocean, railcar, intermodal, truck, LTL) across 8 nearly autonomous company divisions. James was also responsible for evaluating internal systems and processes, soliciting bids for new technologies and outsourced services, evaluating scope of work for integration of various platforms with existing ERP, negotiating contracts to drive operational efficiencies, executing the effective roll out and communication of new capabilities, tools and partnerships across the firm. Additionally, James built relationships with key carriers to improve margin and shipping reliability with contract rates and more favorable terms.
James Bleuer's educational career consists of a BA in Economics/Engineering from Dartmouth College.
