Gregory Friedman

Senior Grants Manager at Lovin' Spoonfuls

Gregory Friedman has over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of grant management, corporate and foundation development, communications, and editing. Gregory began their career in 1997 as a Contractor for Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve and North Cascades National Park, where they edited and designed layout of a full-color air-quality brochure and a volunteer job description guide. In 1998, they began working for SPIE, the International Society for Optics and Photonics, as a Proceedings Editor and Feature and News Editor. From 2001 to 2007, they were an Associate Editor for InsideChips Ventures, where they interviewed and profiled senior management of semiconductor industry startup companies, wrote and edited news content, and maintained a website and database. In 2011, they became the Communications Associate for First Parish Unitarian Universalist of Arlington. Gregory then joined the International Institute of New England in 2017 as a Grants and Foundations Manager. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Grants Manager for St. Stephen's Youth Programs, and currently holds the same position at Lovin' Spoonfuls.

Gregory Friedman attended Western Washington University from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a B.A. in Journalism.
