Hara Kang

Hara Kang has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Starting in 2013, they were a Programming Consultant at Samsung Information Systems America, where they worked on a Data Visualization (Network and Graph) Project. Hara also worked as a Co-founder at Frecipe, where they were responsible for iOS development and Ruby on Rails full stack. In the same year, they were a Lead Engineer at the Social Apps Lab at Citris, UC Berkeley, where they developed a Full stack with Ruby on Rails on Heroku for a project called Dengue Torpedo. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at Zoosk, where they created an internal tool for maintaining design, develop, test, and deploy processes for the engineering team. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Kakao Corp, where they developed and maintained Android SDK for Kakao API, adapted SDK to UX needs, and introduced unit & e2e testing to Android. In 2022, they became the Head Of Engineering at LOVO AI.

Hara Kang obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Biology and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley between 2008 and 2012.
