Director Of Community Health And Nutrition at Lowcountry Food Bank

Dana Mitchel has a work experience that spans from 2010 to the present. Dana started their career at the Lowcountry Food Bank in 2010 as a Nutrition Educator and then progressed to become the Nutrition Manager in 2014. Since January 2018, they have held the role of Director of Community Health and Nutrition. In addition to their work at the food bank, Dana also worked as a Fitness Instructor at the MUSC Wellness Center starting from January 2010.

Dana Mitchel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Virginia Tech, completing the program from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, Dana earned the certification of Registered Dietitian from the Commission On Dietetic Registration in September 2010.
