Dana Vaughn is an experienced professional with a background in event planning and catering management. Currently serving as Development Manager at Lowcountry Food Bank since August 2020, Dana previously held the role of Logistics Manager and Senior Event Coordinator at Christina Baxter Weddings + Events from September 2013 to June 2020, overseeing logistics and vendor coordination for events. Earlier experience includes working as a Sales Catering Coordinator at Dish and Design Catering and Events, where Dana maximized catering revenue and managed client relations. Dana began a culinary career at Marriott International as a Cook, developing menus and ensuring high food quality standards. Dana holds an Associate of Arts degree from Trident Technical College.

Mission: The Lowcountry Food Bank’s mission is to lead the fight against hunger throughout the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina. Guiding Principles: Feed. Advocate. Empower. The Lowcountry Food Bank serves the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina by distributing food to nearly 300 partner agencies including soup kitchens, homeless shelters and emergency food pantries. The Lowcountry Food Bank is a member of the national Feeding America network. The Lowcountry Food Bank advocates on behalf of those who experience hunger and helps empower people to make healthy and nutritious food choices.
