Denise Hines

Chief Financial Officer at Lowcountry Food Bank

Denise Hines has a range of experience in finance and accounting. Denise began their career in 2002 as an accountant at Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries. In 2007, they became the controller at the International Society of Appraisers, and the following year they moved on to become the Chief Financial Officer at the Washington State PTA. Denise held this position for over a decade until 2019 when they transitioned to become the Director of Finance at The Arc of Greater Prince William County/INSIGHT. Most recently, in 2022, Denise started working as the Chief Financial Officer at Lowcountry Food Bank.

Denise Hines pursued their education at Taylor University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Denise continued their academic journey by enrolling in Liberty University in 2018, where they are expected to graduate in 2023 with a Master of Science in Finance.

Mission: The Lowcountry Food Bank’s mission is to lead the fight against hunger throughout the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina. Guiding Principles: Feed. Advocate. Empower. The Lowcountry Food Bank serves the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina by distributing food to nearly 300 partner agencies including soup kitchens, homeless shelters and emergency food pantries. The Lowcountry Food Bank is a member of the national Feeding America network.
