Mark McGilvery is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in food resource management, disaster response, and real estate auctioneering. Currently serving as Food Resource Manager at Lowcountry Food Bank since November 2018, Mark is responsible for building strategic relationships with food donors and advocating for those affected by hunger in South Carolina. Previously, Mark held the position of National Disaster Response and Recovery Manager at NECHAMA, where over $1M in humanitarian aid was delivered to disaster survivors. Mark has also excelled in the real estate sector, selling over $200 million in assets while fostering professional relationships with various stakeholders. An accomplished assistant caddie master at Sankaty Head Golf Club, Mark has worked with high-profile clients and has a solid educational foundation with a BS in Management from Clemson University.

The Lowcountry Food Bank serves the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina by distributing food to nearly 300 partner agencies including soup kitchens, homeless shelters and emergency food pantries. The Lowcountry Food Bank is a member of the national Feeding America network.
