Albert Van Wyk has over 30 years of work experience. Albert began their career in 1988 as a Lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. In 1990, they took on the role of Researcher at the SA Housing Trust. In 2003, they became a CX Service Provider at AVIS. In 1995, they started MRM Support, where they served as Managing Member. MRM Support focused on conducting Customer Satisfaction and other corporate research, using CATI (Computer-Aided-Telephone-Interviewing) methodology. In 2016, they became Director of MRM Tech (Pty) Ltd., where they helped companies understand, automate and grow their business data assets. In 2019, they co-founded Lowdefy Inc., which was designed to solve the need for businesses to manage their internal data.

Albert Van Wyk obtained their Matric from Hoërskool Linden between 1978 and 1982, studying Latin, English, Mathematics, Science, and History. Albert then went on to earn their Master's degree in Industrial Sociology from the University of Johannesburg between 1985 and 1989.
