Erin Maier

Erin Maier is an experienced professional in astronomy and astrophysics, currently serving as a Telescope Operator I and Observer Technician II at Lowell Observatory since January 2021. Prior to this role, Erin held the position of Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona from August 2017 to January 2021. Erin's early career includes internships as an NSF REU Intern at Texas A&M University and Northern Arizona University during the summers of 2016 and 2015, respectively. Erin holds a Master of Science in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Arizona (2017-2019) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Iowa (2013-2017).
