Jessica Howard

Jessica Howard is an experienced accounting assistant at Lowell Observatory since March 2022, and a book reviewer for Shelf Awareness since May 2011, contributing four book reviews monthly while coordinating with editors and publishers. Previously, Jessica served as a payroll bookkeeper at Bookmans Exchange from May 2017 to March 2022, managing human resources, payroll, scheduling, and financial reporting. Jessica also held roles at Vail Christian Church, first as Assistant Director of Children from August 2017 to March 2021, where curriculum development and story time planning were key responsibilities, followed by volunteering as social media manager. Early experience includes working as an administrative assistant at Bookmans Exchange from June 2005 to August 2011, processing payroll and daily deposits. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs, French from Northern Arizona University, earned in 2005.
