Alice Harris

Alice Harris is an accomplished music educator and director with extensive experience in teaching various music disciplines. Currently serving as the Director at Laurissa Jane Music Studio Inc since July 2011, Alice provides music lessons to students aged 5 and older. Concurrently, Alice works as a Music Teacher for the Sidwell Friends School Summer Program, where music fundamentals and instrument usage are taught. Additionally, Alice has been a Piano Teacher and Guest Teacher at Lowell School since October 2009, instructing private piano students and substituting in music and other subjects. As a traveling piano instructor at B&B Music World since August 2005, classes are offered to students aged six to adult. Previously, Alice was the Music Director at Bethesda United Church of Christ, overseeing choir direction and piano performance. Alice holds a Master of Music degree in Jazz Voice Performance and a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Howard University, as well as a diploma from LaGuardia High School of Music & Art.
