Julie Bowes

Julie Bowes is an experienced educator currently serving as a 1st Grade Teacher at Lowell School since August 2020. Previously, Julie taught 2nd Grade at Creative Minds International Public Charter School from August 2016 to August 2020, where responsibilities included leading an inclusive classroom, differentiating instruction based on collected data, and implementing integrated curriculum across subjects. Julie's leadership extended to serving as a Teacher Leader for ELA and the International Primary Curriculum. Additionally, experience as an Emerging Leader with New Leaders Org involved rigorous training in data-driven instruction. Julie's teaching career includes roles as a Second Grade Teacher at Peoria Academy, a First Grade Teacher at Harrison Community Learning Center, and a Founding Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Creative Minds International PCS. Julie holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Trinity Washington University and a BA in Religious Studies with a Pre-Med focus from the University of Virginia.
