Christopher Gerold is a Partner at Lowenstein Sandler LLP, where Christopher advises national broker-dealers, investment advisers, coin-based exchanges, and emerging fintech firms on compliance with securities laws and regulatory rules since January 2022. Previously, Christopher served as the Bureau Chief of the New Jersey Bureau of Securities, establishing a national reputation in securities regulation and crypto-related enforcement. During tenure at the New Jersey Attorney General's Office, Christopher also held the role of Deputy Attorney General, representing the Bureau in significant fraud and market manipulation cases. Additional experience includes positions at NASAA, Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC, Georgeson Shareholder, and Barron Chase Securities. Christopher holds a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and a BS in Finance from Villanova University.
