Jim Lill, PE, has extensive experience in various roles within the education and construction sectors. Jim started their career as a Project Engineer at The Burns Group in 1997. Jim then went on to work as a Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer at BE&K from 1999 to 2002. After that, Jim worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at SMRT Inc., where they managed the construction of a police station in New Jersey.
In 2005, Jim joined the Lower Merion School District as a Project Manager for the High School Modernization Capital Program. This program involved the construction of two high schools and lasted until 2011. Jim then worked at the Downingtown Area School District as the Director of Facilities, Planning & Management. During their time there, they supervised facility operations, maintenance, repairs, and new construction projects.
In 2015, Jim joined Goddard Systems, Inc. as the Director of Site Development and Construction. In this role, they oversaw the construction of approximately 40 early education school buildings in 35 states across the country.
Since 2017, Jim has been working at the Lower Merion School District again, but this time as the Director of Operations. Jim is responsible for overseeing the district's operations and managing the staff.
Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills, and has successfully completed large-scale construction projects in the education and public sectors.
Jim Lill, PE obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. Jim then pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management at the same institution, completing their studies from 1999 to 2004.
