Shameeka Browne

Shameeka Browne is the founder and author of Math is All Around Us LLC, launched in April 2025, focusing on math education through culturally relevant children's books and engaging hands-on experiences. As a Math Specialist and Content Lead at Lower Merion School District since July 2013, Shameeka monitors student achievement and collaborates with educators to improve professional development. Previous roles include Mathematics Teacher at PFT Health and Welfare Fund and Mathematics Strand Coordinator for the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers Health and Welfare Fund. Additional experience includes serving as a Professional Development Leader at Arcadia University and as an Adjunct Professor. Shameeka holds a Master of Education in Middle School Mathematics from Walden University, a Bachelor of Education in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Temple University, and an Associate of Science in Education from Community College of Philadelphia.
