Heather Benjamin has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Heather is currently working as the Public Relations and Communication Coordinator at Family Health West since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Property Administrator at MILITARY AND VETERANS AFFAIRS, COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF from 2020 to 2021. Heather also worked at MBC Grand Broadcasting, Inc. as the Promotions & Community Outreach personnel from 2018 to 2021.
In 2018, Heather held multiple positions at Mesa County, CO, including Special Project Coordinator from 2019 to 2020, Mesa County Deputy Clerk and Recorder from 2018 to 2019, and Webmaster from 2018 to 2018.
Heather previously worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Hoptocopter™ Films from 2016 to 2018.
Heather has also held significant roles in public offices, notably as the Public Information Officer & Communication Director for Mesa County Sheriff's Office from 2007 to 2016, and as an Area Director for the United States Senate from 2003 to 2007.
Heather Benjamin obtained their high school diploma in General High School Studies from Rangely High School from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of Wyoming from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Journalism & Political Science. Additionally, in May 2021, they obtained a certification in OSHA 10 Hour General Industry Outreach from 360training.
