Kelly Neven

Certified Medical Coder at LOWER VALLEY HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION

Kelly Neven began their work experience as a Student Intern at UCHealth in June 2019, where they worked until August 2019. Following this, they became an Urgent Care Technician at UCHealth in July 2019 and held this role until May 2021. In May 2021, Kelly joined Coders Connection as a Certified Medical Coder and worked there until October 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Certified Medical Coder at Family Health West, starting in October 2021.

Kelly Neven attended Pikes Peak State College from 2017 to 2019, where they earned an Associate's degree in Medical/Clinical Assistant with a Medical Coding Specialist Certificate. Prior to that, Kelly Neven attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Botany/Plant Biology in 1997. In addition to their degrees, Kelly Neven has also obtained certifications as a Certified Evaluation and Management Coder (CEMC) and a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) in November 2022.
