Alexis Williams

Alexis Williams is an experienced professional in communications and event management, currently serving as the Internal Communications Coordinator at Lowes Foods since June 2023. In this role, Alexis successfully implemented a new intranet platform for subsidiary brands, achieving over 451,000 site visits. Previously, Alexis was the Chancellor's Residence Project Manager at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where coordination of Chancellor-level events and supervision of multiple projects took place. Alexis also held the position of Alumni Engagement and Event Coordinator at High Point University, managing Homecoming Weekend events and donor relations. Early career experience includes roles at Appalachian State University, where support in event planning and student affairs was provided. Alexis holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a BS in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Appalachian State University.
