Souvik Acharyya Chowdhury

Souvik Acharyya Chowdhury has a range of work experience in the technology industry. Souvik is currently a Lead Data Engineer at Lowe's India, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Deloitte India (Offices of the US) as a Senior Consultant from June 2021 to October 2022, where they specialized in providing solutions on Azure cloud platform and worked as a tech lead for a manufacturing client. Before that, they were a Consultant at Deloitte from November 2018 to May 2021, where they led the entire SIT on Hadoop and worked as a scrum master. Souvik also worked at PwC India as a Consultant from January 2018 to October 2018, where they focused on Data Lake implementation strategy. Souvik started their career at Cognizant as an Associate in June 2013 and worked there until January 2018, where they worked on various development projects, specializing in ETL, Hadoop migration, and Bigdata development projects. Souvik was also responsible for direct communication with clients and designing high-level and low-level designs.

Souvik Acharyya Chowdhury obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from JIS College of Engineering during the period of 2008-2012. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Azure Databricks and Spark Core for Data Engineer from Udemy in 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2021, Snowflake Decoded - Fundamentals and hands-on Training from Udemy in 2021, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Udemy in 2021, and Mastering Data Modeling Fundamentals from Udemy in 2021.
