Patrick Schweiger

Patrick Schweiger has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering. Patrick began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Symmetricom. Patrick then moved on to Beatport in 2007 as a Software Engineer. In 2008, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Photobucket. In 2009, they took on the role of Senior Software Engineer at Colorado Timberline, where they consolidated four forks of symfony API order intake application and migrated multiple applications from symfony 1.1 to 1.2. In 2011, they joined both Moxune, LLC and ConvergIQ as a Senior Software Engineer. Patrick then moved to SANS Institute in 2013 as a Lead Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Loxo, where they have been since 2022.

Patrick Schweiger attended the University of North Texas from 1995 to 1996, studying Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science from 1994 to 1995 and obtained a GED. In addition, they hold two certifications: an AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in June 2018, and a GIAC Certified Web Application Defender (GWEB) from GIAC Certifications, obtained in September 2016.
