Backend engineer at Loyal Guru

Manu Uzkudun has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to 2018. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Bioinformatic at the CSIC - (UPF): Institut de Biologia Evolutiva. In this role, they developed a computational pipeline to compute different measures of positive selection using Python language and the 1000 Genomes Project genotype data. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Computational Biologist at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). In this role, they modelled computationally the regulatory networks related in the Proximo-Distal patterning in the developing limb bud and developed a reverse engineering method to infer regulatory networks in the developing limb bud using experimental gene expression patterns. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Kundalini Yoga Instructor at METROPOLITAN SPORT CLUB & SPA. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Web Engineer at MDPI, where they were responsible for development and maintenance of different web projects using Symfony (PHP) and Ruby on Rails (Ruby) frameworks, Linux server administration, and IT assistance. Finally, from 2018 to present, they have been a Backend Engineer at Loyal Guru.

Manu Uzkudun completed a Bachelor Degree in Physics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona between 2005 and 2009. Manu then went on to earn a Master in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences from Universitat Pompeu Fabra between 2009 and 2011. In 2013 and 2014, they obtained a Kundalini Yoga Instructor certification from Golden Temple Academy. In 2017, they completed a FullStack developer program from Le Wagon. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications from Udemy and Lynda.com, such as Modern React with Redux and Building a Web Interface with React.js. Manu also has a certification from Pluralsight, Introduction to SQL.
