Ray Perez has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Ray began their career in the military, serving in the US Marine Corps and US Navy War College. In the military, they held positions such as Combat Fleet Marine Force Corpsman and Operations Officer, Medical Planner.

After their military service, Ray worked for the American Red Cross as a Regional Disaster & Program Officer, overseeing disaster service programs in Central Florida. Ray also worked at the US European Command as Chief, Medical Plans and Operations, where they were involved in strategic and operational planning for medical initiatives.

Ray's work also includes roles at Loyal Source Government Services, where they served as Vice President and Director for a Department of Homeland Security contract. Ray led the organizational transformation of the company and oversaw multiple humanitarian efforts.

Throughout their career, Ray has demonstrated effective leadership, management, and strategic planning skills. Ray has experience in program management, budgeting, and leading large teams.

Ray Perez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1998. In 1999, they earned a Master's degree in Health Services Administration and another Master's degree in Public Administration from Webster University. Later, in 2013, they received a Master of Arts (MA) degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. Ray also completed a Program Management Certificate of Completion at Syracuse University in 2015. Additionally, they hold various certifications, such as Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America, Fleet Marine Force from the US Marine Corps, Master Training Specialist from the US Marine Corps, and US Youth Soccer "D" Certified Coach from US Youth Soccer.
