Marco Montefiori

Marco Montefiori has been working in the finance industry since 1997. Marco began their career as the Founder of TT Trading Team. In 1999, they became an Oil Products Trader for ERG Spa. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Heavy Distillate Trader for LITASCO SA. Marco then moved on to Cargill as a Fuel Oil Trading Manager. From 2013 to 2020, they worked as an Oil Trading professional for Rosneft Trading. In 2020, they joined Payflow (YC S21) as an Investor and Managing Partner. Most recently, in 2021, they became a VP and LP for Loyal VC, as well as a Mentor for UP Catalyst.

Marco Montefiori has an extensive educational background. Marco began their studies in 1992 at the Università degli Studi di Genova, where they earned a 110/110 cum laude in Economics in 1997. In 2004, they attended INSEAD and earned an MBA in 2005. In 2019, they completed the IN Board program at INSEAD, focusing on Board of Directors. Most recently, they attended the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2022, where they earned a certificate in Oxford Entrepreneurship: Venture Finance Programme with a focus on Venture Capital.
