Spyros Argalias

Spyros Argalias has a comprehensive work experience in the field of programming and engineering. Spyros started as a Freelance Web Developer and Business Consultant in 2012 and later worked as a Full Stack Developer at Soundflow Music Academy from 2016 to 2018. During this time, they contributed to the development of a private e-learning platform and actively participated in Agile practices.

In 2018, Spyros joined Office Depot - Europe as a Front End Engineer, where they worked on the company's website. Spyros then returned to Soundflow Music Academy in 2019 as the Lead Full Stack Engineer, taking the lead in developing a private e-learning platform for premium customers. Spyros also provided training and mentoring on various development topics.

In 2022, Spyros joined Luxtripper as a Senior Full Stack Developer, focusing on developing the company's internal bookings and CRM system for the travel industry. This role required expertise in TypeScript, React, Redux Toolkit, Redux-Saga, styled-components, Jest, Cypress, Node, Express, and Next.

Since 2019, Spyros has been running their own blog and YouTube channel called Programming Duck. Spyros'scontent has been well-received and featured on popular platforms like Hashnode, Dev.to, and the Launchies podcast.

Most recently, Spyros has been appointed as the Engineering Lead at LoyaltyLion, starting from March 2023.

Spyros Argalias obtained a degree in Web Development from freeCodeCamp from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they studied Physics & Mathematics at the University of Hertfordshire from 2011 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Spyros has obtained several certifications including Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Helm for Beginners, DevOps Pre-Requisite Course, Kubernetes for the Absolute Beginners - Hands-on, Docker for the Absolute Beginner, The Complete GitHub Actions & Workflows Guide, Complete C# Unity Game Developer 2D, Complete C# Unity Game Developer 3D, The Modern JavaScript Bootcamp, Node.js, Express & MongoDB Dev to Deployment, The Complete React Web Developer Course (with Redux), Object-Oriented Programming with Java, Parts 1 & 2, The Web Developer Bootcamp, and Front End Certification. Spyros also completed a certification in Content Marketing from HubSpot in April 2020.
