Dr. Jonathan Schmitz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and evolutionary biology. Currently serving as a Senior AI Solutions Architect and previously as an AI Engineer at LoyJoy since April 2018, Dr. Schmitz has a solid background in research through roles such as Research Assistant at the Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity from December 2014 to February 2018 and Project Student at the UCD Conway Institute Biomolecular and Biomedical Research in 2013. Dr. Schmitz earned a Doctorate in Evolutionary Biology, Genome Biology, and Bioinformatics from the University of Münster, along with a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from the same institution.
