Rory Walsh

Rory Walsh serves as the Manager of Learning Space and Lab Technology at Loyola Marymount University since October 2018, overseeing a team that addresses technology troubleshooting across various campus environments. Prior experience includes roles as a Technology Support Specialist in the School of Film & Television and a Director at filmFUTURE, Inc., where Rory wrote and directed diverse media projects. In addition to experience as a freelance video professional for over a decade, Rory worked as a Genius Bar Technician at Apple, specializing in repairs and customer service for Mac and iOS devices. As an author and illustrator for children's picture books since 2017 and a line producer for the film "Birdemic 2: The Resurrection," Rory combines creative talent with technical expertise. Educational background includes a B.A. in Film & Electronic Arts from California State University, Long Beach, and an associate degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Butte College.
