Braydon Thompson has a diverse work experience ranging from financial management to project management. Braydon started their career as a Consultant at Crowe Horwath in 2009, where they worked until 2012. Braydon then joined the University of Chicago Medicine as a Budget Analyst before moving on to become a Senior Project Manager in 2013. In this role, Braydon successfully executed and managed strategic projects related to cost reduction, nurse-to-patient ratio benchmarking, and charge capture initiatives. Braydon also developed a monthly financial reporting process and nursing productivity reporting model. In 2015, Braydon joined the University of Chicago's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine as a Finance Manager. Braydon later transitioned to UChicago Medicine, where they served as a Business Manager for Ambulatory Care Services and then as a Director of Financial Operations until 2020. Braydon then joined the University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Pharmacy as the Director of Finance. Currently, they are the Regional Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Loyola Medicine, where they apply their expertise in financial management and analysis.
Braydon Thompson completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington in 2008. Braydon then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Chicago, which they completed in 2020.
