Cheryl James

Cheryl James is an accomplished human resources executive with extensive experience in leading HR strategies across multiple industries. Currently serving as CHRO for Loyola Medicine in Illinois and Indiana since July 2024, Cheryl previously held the position of SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer at Adtalem Global Education from February 2022 to May 2024. Prior roles include Chief Human Resources Officer at Hillrom, where Cheryl managed a global HR team and had significant influence on corporate culture and strategy, as well as various HR leadership positions at Baxter Healthcare and Pfizer Inc. Cheryl began their career in diverse roles at DowBrands, culminating in leadership positions in sales, marketing, and diversity. Academically, Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Indiana State University and a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
