Katherine Habicht Erskine, MPH, is a seasoned professional in public health and epidemiology, currently serving as the Manager of Quality - Population Health at Loyola Medicine since December 2014. In this role, Katherine performs data analysis, develops automated reporting processes using various programming languages, and supports clinical abstraction through Microsoft Access tools. Prior to this, Katherine worked as a Healthcare-associated Infections Epidemiologist at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, coordinating HAI reporting and collaborating with hospitals statewide to enhance infection prevention efforts. Katherine also completed a CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellowship, which focused on outbreak investigations and data management. Katherine holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Mary's College.
