In 2014, Joellyn completed the Ignatian Colleagues Program offered by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU). In 2016, they obtained the "Finance for Executives" certification from the Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management at Northwestern University. Lastly, in 2017, they obtained a certification in "Nonprofit Finance" from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
